iproute2 rules aren't cleaned up when interface is brought down with ifdown.
Issue
- iproute2 rules aren't cleaned up when interface is brought down with
ifdown - The iproute rules that we've configured in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/rule-<interface>aren't cleaned up when we do anifdownon the interface. - We do have the
NetworkManager-dispatcher-routing-rulespackage installed so that the routes and rules are configured properly when interfaces come up and down. - It's just that the rules aren't cleaned up when the interface goes down with either an
ifdownorsystemctl restart network
Environment
