When a server was stopped by "shutdown -h now", "openstack server list" still shows ACTIVE

Issue

  • When a server was stopped by shutdown -h now, openstack baremetal node list shows Power State: power off, and Provisioning State :active

    $ openstack baremetal node list
    | fb1df2a2-8a75-4aea-a68e-60851aed228b | overcloud-compute-0 | 4afe2f13-d601-4b8b-8d0d-64b5b8ec99b0 | power off   | active             | False       |
    
  • However, output of the command openstack server list still shows Status : ACTIVE

    $ openstack server list
    | 4afe2f13-d601-4b8b-8d0d-64b5b8ec99b0 | overcloud-compute-0 | ACTIVE | ctlplane=xx.xx.xx.xx | overcloud-full |
