RHV VM pauses when accessing a direct lun configured as Virtio-SCSI with SCSI Pass-Through and Privileged SCSI I/O

Issue

After upgrading a host, we boot a virtual machine, it is paused due a storage error.
The disk in question is a direct lun configured as Virtio-SCSI with SCSI Pass-Through and Privileged SCSI I/O enabled.
The lun was connected via an Emulex FibreChannel HBA.
