How to disable the oplock mechanism on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8 SMB clients?
Issue
Sometimes there is a specific technical need or requirement to disable the oplock

under the following circumstances:
- You are using a database application whose documentation recommends that oplocks be disabled.
- The SMB clients are on an unreliable network.
- You are handling critical data and you cannot afford even the slightest data loss.
