Why Extended ACL is functional on Ext4 filesystems in RHEL 7 even after removing the feature from filesystem feature?
Issue
- Extended ACLs seem to be functional on Ext4 filesystems even though:
- It is not specified as default filesystem mount option (tune2fs -l
) - Filesystem is not mounted with the required option (-o acl).
