Apache httpd fails to start as mod_watchdog is not loaded.

Issue

  • After upgrading server from Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.x to either 8.x or 9.x using leapp utility, Apache httpd fails to start and gives following error.

    [proxy_hcheck:crit] [pid xxxx] AH03262: mod_watchdog is required
[:emerg] [pid xxxx] AH00020: Configuration Failed, exiting
