Yum fails with error [Errno 14] curl#60 - Peer's certificate issuer has been marked as not trusted by the user on Satellite server.

Issue

  • Hitting the below error while running the YUM commands on the Satellite server:

    failure: repodata/repomd.xml from rhel-7-server-rh-common-rpms: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
    https://cdn.redhat.com/content/dist/rhel/server/7/7Server/x86_64/rh-common/os/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] curl#60 - "Peer's certificate issuer has been marked as not trusted by the user."
    
  • How to register a client back to Customer Portal which registered to Red Hat Satellite?
  • On the clients of the satellite server receiving the below error:
