is DPDK vhost MTU size 8950 (not 9000) by design in OSP10 ?

Issue

  • When we crated the instances, the DPDK vhost MTU size is 8950, instead of 9000. Is it normal? and by design from OSP10 z4?

    [root@tkllz1p0 ~]#  ovs-vsctl list int "vhu44989dea-f8" | grep mtu
mtu                 : 8950
mtu_request         : 8950
