CUPS page_log file is not updated with third-party print drivers in RHEL
Issue
We would like to know how can we check the print status logs of a printer that are configured with a third-party driver (such as one for Intermec printers). The page_log file has only print status for RAW printers whereas it is not able to print any status for the printers those are configured with the third-party driver.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), all versions
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS), all versions
