Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
    • kernel prior to kernel-3.10.0-514.41.1.el7
    • kernel prior to kernel-3.10.0-693.17.1.el7
    • other kernels may be affected
  • Seen when using a large number of large extend attributes (xattr) on files
