While doing yum update, the error message seen is :

cpio: ./etc/crypttab: Cannot stat: No such file or directory
E: dracut: creation of /boot/initramfs-x.x.xx-xxx.xx.x.el6.x86_64.img failed
mkinitrd failed
warning: %posttrans(kernel-x.x.xx-xxx.xx.x.el6.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
