Get passwd and shadow not in sync when executing system-config-users
Issue
When launch system-config-users the following message comes :
The user database cannot be read. This problem is most likely caused by a mismatch in /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow. The program will exit now
looking at the content of both file and they have the same entries. execute pwck and it return the following :
user adm: directory /var/adm does not exist
user news: directory /etc/news does not exist
user uucp: directory /var/spool/uucp does not exist
user gopher: directory /var/gopher does not exist
user pcap: directory /var/arpwatch does not exist
pwck: no changes
Environment
