Running 'rhq-agent-wrapper.sh stop' results in unrelated EAP instance being stopped

Issue

  • JBoss instance shut itself down when restarting JON agent
  • rhq-agent-wrapper.sh reporting JON agent running when it is not
  • Stopping rhq-agent using rhq-agent-wrapper stops EAP instance
  • any issue of rhq-agent-wrapper stopping EAP PIDs?

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 2.4.1, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2
  • rhq-agent-wrapper.sh script used for stopping/starting agent
