Why do Red Hat Software Collections packages contain duplicated files?
Issue
Some Red Hat Software Collections packages contain duplicated files with the same content.
For example, the rh-php70-php-common package contains the following two files.
- /opt/rh/rh-php70/register.content/etc/opt/rh/rh-php70/php.ini
- /etc/opt/rh/rh-php70/php.ini
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (any version)
- Red Hat Software Collections (any version)
