IPaddr2 resource monitor operation fails with "Cannot send dump request: Connection refused"

Issue

  • IP resources in our pacemaker cluster randomly fail with the following messages logged:
  <date, time> hostname lrmd[PID]:  notice: IPresource_monitor_60000:2389:stderr [ Cannot send dump request: Connection refused ]
  <date, time> hostname crmd[PID]:  notice: hostname-IPresource_monitor_60000:2074 [ Cannot send dump request: Connection refused\n ]

Environment

  • RHEL 7 with High Availability or Resilient Storage Add-On
