RHEL7.4: nfs-server.service fails to start if IPv6 is disabled - rpc.nfsd: address family AF_INET6 not supported by protocol TCP
Issue
- NFS fails to start on RHEL 7.4 when IPv6 is disabled via "ipv6.disable=1" on kernel commandline with the following message
rpc.nfsd: address family AF_INET6 not supported by protocol TCP
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4
- kernel-3.10.0-693.el7
- nfs-utils-1.3.0-0.41.el7 through nfs-utils-1.3.0-0.48.el7
