Resizing the Fabric ensemble fails with io.fabric8.api.InvalidComponentException

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

We try to enlarge our Fabric ensemble using fabric:ensemble-list but some of the containers added to the ensemble fail to reach a provision status of success. Instead their status is error - io.fabric8.api.InvalidComponentException as in this example:

[id] [version] [type] [connected] [profiles] [provision status]
fabric-001 1.0 karaf yes default success
                                            fabric-ensemble-0001-2
fabric-002 1.0 karaf yes default success
                                            fabric-ensemble-0001-3
fabric-003 1.0 karaf yes default error - io.fabric8.api.InvalidComponentException
                                            fabric-ensemble-0001-4
fabric-004 1.0 karaf no default error - io.fabric8.api.InvalidComponentException
                                            fabric-ensemble-0001-5
root* 1.0 karaf yes fabric success
                                            fabric-ensemble-0001-1

The problem is not reproducible at will.
