pcs commands are failing with "([SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:579))"

Issue

  • After updating pacemaker and python rpms the pcs cluster stop --all command is failing with below errors:

    node1: Unable to connect to host1 ([SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:579))
    node2: Unable to connect to host2 ([SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:579))
    Error: unable to stop all nodes
    node1: Unable to connect to host1 ([SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:579))
    node2: Unable to connect to host2 ([SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:579))
