Quick and simple check for kerberos authentication functionality on Red Hat Satellite 6
Issue
- I need to check if kerberos on IdM or AD (Active Directory) authentication is correctly configured on Red Hat Satellite 6
- Red Hat Satellite 6 is set up to use kerberos through IdM or AD (Active Directory) but it's not working
- Kerberos ticket is not working with Red Hat Satellite 6 using IdM or Active Directory authentication
Environment
- Red Hat Satellite 6.2 or later
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- Red Hat Identity Management (IdM) or Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
- Red Hat Satellite configured to authenticate to Red Hat Identity Management or Microsoft Active Directory directly i.e. using kerberos, by following the documentation.
