FS corruption noticed after using fio utility (Multithreaded IO generation tool)
Issue
Several XFS and Ext4 filesystems heavily corrupted after a reboot was initiated. System(s) unable to boot - reporting FS corruption and requesting a FS check to be done. A large amount of files was moved to lost+found after xfs_repair & fsck was executed.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- fio package installed and used for testing
