Why importing VMs from a data domain is failing with error "duplicate key value violates unique constraint pk_images"

Issue

  • Detached a storage domain from a primary site and attached to a new RHV-M in a DR site. However importing the VM is failing with below error in the engine log.
 PL/pgSQL function insertimage(timestamp with time zone,uuid,uuid,bigint,uuid,integer,timestamp with time zone,uuid,integer,integer,uuid,boolean,smallint) line 3 at SQL statement; nested exception is org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "pk_images"
  Detail: Key (image_guid)=(755b1244-31d2-4e60-8d5c-2ce4c6407dd2) already exists.
  • This image with UUID 755b1244-31d2-4e60-8d5c-2ce4c6407dd2 is not available in the image list of this VM.
