Unable to create datasource after deploying IBM DB2 db2jcc.jar driver in EAP

Issue

  • Deployed db2jcc.jar in order to create a DB2 datasource
  • When creating a datasource, encountering "missing/unavailable dependencies" error:

    {"WFLYDC0074: Operation failed or was rolled back on all servers. Server failures:" => {"server-group" => {... => {"WFLYCTL0180: Services with missing/unavailable dependencies" => ["jboss.driver-demander.java:jboss/datasources/myDS is missing [jboss.jdbc-driver.db2jcc_jar]","org.wildfly.data-source.my-datasource is missing [jboss.jdbc-driver.db2jcc_jar]"]}}...}}
