Unable to start Tomcat in OpenShift v2 or with non-tomcat users
Issue
- Since updating to
tomcat8-8.0.36-17.ep7.el6.noarch"others" are not able to run Tomcat 8. It was working withtomcat8-8.0.18-61_patch_01.ep7.el6.noarch. - Since updating to
tomcat7-7.0.70-16.ep7.el6.noarch"others" are not able to run Tomcat 7. It was working withtomcat7-7.0.54-21_patch_05.ep6.el6.noarch. /usr/share/tomcat8/bin/bootstrap.jarnot readable and tomcat raisedError: Could not find or load main class org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap/usr/share/tomcat7/bin/bootstrap.jarnot readable and tomcat raisedError: Could not find or load main class org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Web Server 3.1 (JWS 3.1.0 GA)
- Tomcat 7 and Tomcat 8
