`others` not able to start JBoss applications

Issue

  • Since updating to tomcat8-8.0.36-17.ep7.el6.noarch "others" are not able to run JBoss. It was working with tomcat8-8.0.18-61_patch_01.ep7.el6.noarch.
  • /usr/share/tomcat8/bin/bootstrap.jar not readable and tomcat raised Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.catalina.startup.Bootstrap

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Web Server 3.1.0 w/o Service Pack 1
