Data corruption on Hyper-V or Azure when running Oracle ASM
Issue
- When running Oracle ASM backed storage on an Azure or Hyper-V hosted RHEL system, data corruption is noted
- Oracle's archive process reads the redo logs and the corruption detected and reported.
