How to configure rotatelog in Apache httpd on Windows?

Issue

  • When Apache httpd is started with rotatelogs as shown in below configuration, Apache httpd fails to start with below error message:
(OS 2)The system cannot find the file specified.  : AH00089: Couldn't start ErrorLog process 'D:/JBCS_HOME/sbin/rotatelogs  D:/JBCS_HOME/var/log/httpd/error_log.%Y-%m-%d 25M'

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Core Services Apache HTTP Server (JBCS)
    • Apache 2.4.23
  • Microsoft Windows
    • 2012 R2
