Unable to Share CUPS Printer in RHEL
Issue
After running "lpadmin -p P1234 -v ipp://10.1.2.3/printers/P1234", the printer was permanently un-shared. Even removing /printers from the DeviceURI by Running "lpadmin -p P1234 -v ipp://10.1.2.3/P1234 -o printer-is-shared=true" doesn't share the printer.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RGEL) 5 & 6
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.3.7 and 1.4.2
