Interface still shows after removing interface with --remove-interface option

Issue

  • When removing the interface and reloading the firewalld rules, the interface is not removed.
firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --remove-interface="eth0" doesnt remove interface
firewall-cmd --reload
firewall-cmd --zone=public --list-all
