why does writing bigger than 2GB files crash mirrored Red Hat Storage Server?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • If you write collection large files around 2GB (using dd) to a replica gluster volume mounted through NFS protocol, the client/server crashes.

  • This issue does not happen if the volume doesn't have mirrored configuration.
