Why upgrading selinux-policy-targeted failed giving error "libsemanage.semanage_install_active: setfiles returned error code 1" ?
Issue
- The package
selinux-policy-targeted-3.7.19-307.el6.noarch
produced errors when performing a yum update:
Updating : selinux-policy-targeted-3.7.19-307.el6.noarch 190/423
/etc/selinux/targeted/contexts/files/file_contexts: Invalid argument
libsemanage.semanage_install_active: setfiles returned error code 1.
semodule: Failed!
- SELinux on this server is
disabled
and a reboot produced no obvious issues. - Tried reinstalling the package, but this produced the same error.
