Occasionally while bringing up a privileged container, container fails to start with the message "lstat /dev/dm-13: no such file or directory" ?

Issue

  • While executing docker-compose up, one of the container fails to initialize with the following message in the console
  ERROR: for XXX  Cannot start service XXX: linux runtime spec devices: lstat /dev/dm-13: no such file or directory
  • Occasionally while bringing up a privileged container, container fails to start with the following message
