JBoss shuts down when Apache is stopped or restarted

Issue

  • Customer has created a php script to start JBoss from the run.sh file :
    $cmd = '/usr/bin/sudo /bin/su - USER JBOSS_HOME/bin/run.sh';

  • The JBoss process goes away if Apache is stopped or restarted with the service init script:

    • service httpd restart
    • service httpd stop
