Unable to setup VXLAN tunnel when using ipv6.disable=1
Issue
- On Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3 systems, when booting with the
ipv6.disable=1kernel command-line option, VXLAN tunnels may not properly initialize. - Messages such as
kernel: vxlan: Cannot bind port 4789, err=-97may appear indmesgand/var/log/messages

- VXLAN Tunnel Infrastructure
- In the ouput of
/proc/cmdlinethe lineipv6.disable=1is present or some other IPv6-disabling option is present.
