Issue

  • When creating a snapshot of RHEL 7 VM's, we get the following error:
Could not detect Guest Agent on the VM. Note that without a Guest Agent the data on the created snapshot may be inconsistent.
  • RHV Guest Agent is Installed and Active in the Guest
  • Could not detect Guest Agent on the VM

Environment

  • Red Hat Virtualization 3.x, 4.x
