Why PPC64LE installer not working correctly on IBM Power8 S822L ?

Issue

Running through the installation in graphical mode (over VNC), reports in success. However after a reboot, petitboot loads and does not show disks to boot from. Exiting into the shell of petitboot, Able to see that the disk was partitioned, but for some reason the Power8 server is not recognizing the installation.
