hostname -v command does not output verbose information
Issue
- hostname -v command does not output verbose information.
The output is as follows:
[RHEL6]
# hostname -v
gethostname()=`rhel64'
rhel64
[RHEL7]
# hostname -v
hostname: invalid option -- 'v'
