Getting 'mount error 20 = Not a directory' when trying to mount a Windows share from RHEL5

Unable to mount a Windows share.  Getting the following error:

# mount -t cifs -o username=DOMAIN/user,password=password // /mnt/interfaces/

mount error 20 = Not a directory
