RHEV : Engine keeps reporting error "Importing VM 'redhat-guest' as 'external-redhat-guest', as it is running on the on Host, but does not exist in the engine."

Issue

  • VM was shutdown from within the guest and then removed from the RHEV GUI and engine database .
  • vdsClient command displays VM after being shutdown and qemu-kvm process for the VM is terminated.
  • Engine logs keeps reporting below errors for host status received from hypervisors .
