How can I limit the networks hops for HornetQ multicast packages?
Issue
- How can I limit the expansion (life time) of multicast packages over the network when using a HornetQ cluster in JBoss EAP 6?
- We have discovered Multicast packages within other subnetworks, which were leading to a high network utilization. In order to prevent Multicast packages from our JBoss server instances spreading too far, we were looking at the possibility of limiting the number of hops the multicast or udp broadcast should live.
- Is there a parameter like
jgroupsttl(time-to-live) or such for HornetQ?
