Kernel panic occurs with ixgbe driver module

Issue

Kernel panic occurs when system loads ixgbe driver module of RHEL6.9 kernel. If server has NIC which uses ixgbe driver module, an issue occurs during boot and cannot boot a system.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.9
  • kernel-2.6.32-696.el6
  • ixgbe driver module
  • Intel X552 NIC
