Errors seen at boot " add_to_rules: unknown key"

Issue

  • When boot a RHEL 5 in a VMWare ESX returns the following error:

              add_to_rules: unknown key 'SUBSYSTEMS'
          add_to_rules: unknown key 'ATTRS{vendor}'
          add_to_rules: unknown key 'ATTRS{model}'
          add_to_rules: unknown key 'SUBSYSTEMS'
          add_to_rules: unknown key 'ATTRS{vendor}'
          add_to_rules: unknown key 'ATTRS{model}'

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
