Issue
- Red Hat Satellite fails to sync one or multiple repos with Red Hat CDN
- Red Hat Satellite throws "SSL_connect SYSCALL returned=5 errno=0 state=SSLv2/v3 read server hello A" SSL errors while connecting to Red Hat CDN to sync one or multiple repos
- Suspicion that the network equipment on the local network may be keeping Red Hat Satellite from successfully connecting to Red Hat CDN
Environment
- Red Hat Satellite 6.x
- A host outside of the corporate network that is certainly not behind the corporate network firewalls, proxies, load balancers, etc.
