Incorrect xdmcp keepalive response leads to minimal xsession exiting in 3 minutes

Issue

  • XDMCP configured on RHEL6 and connecting it from Windows using Xlaunch.
  • Connecting to the RHEL6 system using Xlaunch but after 5 to 10 minutes inactivity the session is getting disconnected.
  • This issue on remote(xdmcp) session only.
  • The same issue with cygwin.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • gdm-2.30.4-64.el6.x86_64
  • tigervnc-server-1.1.0-16.el6.x86_64
  • xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.15.0-22.el6.x86_64
