Registering Client to Satellite 5 with rhn_register Fails with "SQL Error generated: (99999, 'ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block'..."

Issue

  • I am using rhn_register to register a new client to my Satellite 5 server and receiving the following error:
SQL Error generated: (99999, 'ERROR:  current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block', '', InternalError('current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block
