Satellite is unable to provision if the VMware cluster name contains parenthesis ()

Issue

  • We are attempting to provision a vmware host using Satellite. Provisioning works with physical hosts, but not VM's. The Resource Pool field is blank and the drop down list is empty on the New Host screen in the Satellite web UI.
