Nautilus filesystem properties show more contents than the size of the filesystem
Issue
- In the "Computer" Place in Nautilus, right-clicking on "Filesystem" and selecting Properties shows the filesystem Contents as containing more data than the size of the / filesystem, but the free space as the free space of the / filesystem.
For example, if the / filesystem is 10Gb and /home is 100Gb, and each filesystem is 50% full, then the Properties dialog will show Filesystem as containing 55Gb of data, but free space will only be 5Gb.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- GNOME graphical desktop environment
- Nautilus file manager
