NetworkManager does not add DNS domain to /etc/resolv.conf

Issue

  • When RHEL6 client configures IP address with DHCP, the NetworkManager received DNS domain properly from DHCP server, but it does not update /etc/resolv.conf correctly. Only search domains and nameservers are added.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • NetworkManager-0.8.1-107
