CUPS commands do not seem to honor the "-h" command line option
Issue
- In RHEL 6 and below, "
lpstat -h ${server}" would connect to IPP services on the remote system. On RHEL 7, this is ignored ifServerNameis set inclient.conf - The
ServerNamedefined in/etc/cups/client.conftakes precedence over the-hcommand line option. This was not the case in earlier releases.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.3
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.6.3
