How to configure SSSD to fetch autofs maps from an AD DC
Issue
As seen on the KCS entitled "How to configure SSSD to fetch autofs maps from LDAP server ?" , the procedure as to define the correct LDAP entries under sssd.conf is described. Moving this one step further, the LDAP server of an AD Domain Controller can be used for the exact same purpose.
Below, are documented the steps followed as to combine an AD LDAD, SSSD and the autofs service in order to mount a user's CIFS home directory
