How to change the ABRT coredump directory?

  • There is not enough space left on /var. How can the directory where abrt creates core files be changed?

  • After changing ABRT DumpLocation, abrtd service does not start.
# service abrtd restart
Stopping abrt daemon:                                      [FAILED]
Starting abrt daemon: abrtd: Failed to start: got sig 17                     [FAILED]
